Here are some sites I think are good about giving tips.

http://thepioneerwoman.com/photography/
This site has general tips from how to take a picture to photo shop tips. They also have some great photo shop actions that are free!

http://iheartfaces.blogspot.com/
This is a fun site to follow. Each week they have a contest. Each week for the contest there is a new theme. You guys can even enter the contest. Participants range from beginners to professional. Even if you don't enter the contest it is fun to follow along with their themes. See what the themes are and try to take pictures that go along with the particular theme. Look at others entries, maybe they will inspire you.

This lady has a company that sells actions but she also gives a lot of free advice that can be helpful.

This is a site that has lots of photo shop tips and she also gives free photo shop templates and actions.

To recap thoughts from the discussion yesterday here are some tips to capture a more interesting picture.

- Move your model around. The subject does not always have to be standing in the middle of the viewfinder.

-Move yourself around. Try to find an interesting angle to take the picture. Move yourself up and down. To the left and right. Move the camera at an angle to make the picture interesting. A 30 degree angle turn of the camera is good.

- Zoom in. If your camera doesn't allow you to zoom in close then crop after your have downloaded your photo. Don't be afraid to crop off tops of heads.

-Shoot through objects. Fences, trees, plants, windows, etc. Play with this and see if you can get some fun shots.

-Tell a story with your photographs. Zoom in on part of the subject. Shoes, hands curls of the hair, etc. Can make a dramatic photograph.

- Don't be afraid to take a lot of photos. When you think you have gotten a great shot, keep shooting. Be creative. After a shoot, download your photos and review. Learn from your shoot. Look at the photos you like. What about is it that catches your eye? Look at other photographers pictures. What do you like about them?

Have fun and take lots of photos!
